Handwriting Without Tears: Get Set For School curriculum is a developmentally appropriate approach for teaching the skills needed in many areas. Handwriting without tears uses verbal and musical cues for children to be taught coloring, writing, and cutting skills. The children will learn the alphabet in a specific order to make it the easiest possible to build literacy skills. We start with capital letters and switch to lower case when developmentally appropriate. Additionally, they have materials we use in other curriculum areas (math, language, etc) that are utilized.
